What is EcoKit?

We want to play our part to help protect the planet – from the 2020/21 season we will be offering all clubs EcoKit by Hope & Glory – our Eco friendly bespoke kits.

These kits are a part of our commitment to a sustainable future, making football kits using rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate) with a lower environmental impact. Both the shirt and shorts are made from rPET fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles that have been melted down to produce a fine yarn (see the full process below).

Every shirt is manufactured using a piece of fabric made from the equivalent of approximately 16 plastic bottles. Our EcoKit material behaves in the same way virgin polyester would meaning no difference in performance from our standard kits – if anything the EcoKit fabric has a more premium feel, smoother to the touch and slightly lighter.

WHEN WILL MY PRODUCTS BE DISPATCHED?

STOCK GARMENTS; Our stock items are dispatched within 1-2 working days this turnaround is due to some stock items requiring club branding. At busier times of the year (the start of the football season and Christmas) this can sometimes take a little longer.

In the unlikely case of a delay, we’ll contact you with an update to detail the delay and ask you how you’d like to proceed.

PRE-ORDERED GARMENTS; Many of our club shirts are sold on a pre-order basis. Due to the bespoke nature of the kits, manufacturing can take longer than traditional shirts. Dispatch is usually 4-6 weeks after an order has been confirmed. 

HOW ARE MY PRODUCTS SHIPPED?

Your order will be delivered to your shipping address.

WHEN WILL MY PRODUCTS BE DELIVERED?

This depends on the courier, but Royal Mail quotes their First Class delivery service as taking 1 to 3 working days for UK deliveries. Please note these timings are PLUS the days to dispatch mentioned above.

WHAT IF MY ORDER DOESN’T ARRIVE?

Whilst rare, parcels can go missing in the post. We cannot issue replacement orders until 21 working days after dispatch for the UK and 28 days for EU & INT. This is because we cannot claim from Royal Mail until this time. 

If an order does not arrive, we always recommend checking at your local post office before contacting us. Please also note that we must be notified within 30 days of any orders that have not arrived. After this time we cannot replace any orders free of charge.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

We aware that for one reason or another there may be a need to exchange or return your purchase. Currently, each Hope & Glory Barnes Eagles product is made/branded to order, so unless there is a fault with the item unfortunately we do not accept returns or exchanges. Whilst faults are rare, it does occasionally happen – simply email with a photo and description of the fault and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund. This can be done within 14 days of receipt.

PLEASE NOTE: It can take up to 28 days for a return to be processed.
